Christina Miller - Secretary, SSEEO
Christina Miller is the proud daughter of a stroke survivor. In the summer of 2009, Christina and her family were devastated to learn that her father, Ronald Catalano, suffered two consecutive strokes as he awoke from general anesthesia following a cardiac catheterization. After spending days in the ICU and months in therapy, Christina’s father is now able to speak, walk and even drive as he did prior to the strokes. Through being at his side during the stroke rehabilitation process, Christina became committed to raising stroke awareness and providing support for stroke survivors and caregivers.
Christina first became involved with SSEEO through her work as an attorney, representing SSEEO on a pro bono basis and assisting with its incorporation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, a master’s degree from The London School of Economics and a law degree from Northwestern University.
Christina currently resides in downtown Chicago with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading and traveling.
