SSEEO is the first non-profit patient-supported stroke advocacy group in the nation. Founded in 2004 by stroke survivors, we have hundreds of members who are championing for survivors and their families in communities across Illinois. Through our newsletters, website and toll-free phone support group, we are now able to reach families in other states, as well as other countries.
Originally sponsored by the American Heart/American Stroke Association, SSEEO has grown into an independent, 501(c)(3) organization run by those whose life has been affected by stroke.
